“Winning the Women of the Future Award for Real Estate, Infrastructure & Construction was only the beginning. I had no idea what to expect when I put myself forward for the award, but the positive impact the Award and Women of the Future network has had on both my professional and personal life has been phenomenal.
I was overwhelmed when I first found out that I had been shortlisted, but it made me realise that you do have to put yourself out there to get anywhere. I never imagined I would be awarded as a woman of the future, but it’s been a real stepping stone to make sure I keep pushing myself and putting myself out there.
I’ve met some truly inspirational and kind people through and WoF network, its been humbling and motivational, it’s made me want to keep achieving as much as I can and give something back.
We all need a little encouragement, recognition and promotion every now and again. The Women of the Future Awards not only promotes kindness, but gives young, talented women the recognition they deserve and offers a platform for real role models for the next generation.
I hope this year to see more and more women putting themselves forward as Women of the Future.”
