We were delighted to launch our Women of the Future Southeast Asia Awards 2021 with a virtual networking event on the Remo platform on January 19th.  Over 100 attendees joined us from across SE Asia and beyond. The event included welcome speeches and a virtual networking session, allowing attendees to move from table to table meeting different people. During the welcome addresses,  we heard from Vicki Treadell, British High Commissioner to Australia,  John Lombard, CEO for Asia  Pacific from our headline sponsor, NTT,  Supna Rania  Karwanamurthi, Winner of our Entrepreneur category in 2019 and Pinky Lilani CBE  DL, Founder and Chairman of Women of the Future Programme. The event was hosted by Angela Lagunzad,  who was shortlisted for the media category last year and is a journalist at UNTV.

The event launched our 4th Women of the Future Awards Southeast Asia. The awards will once again aim to build a platform to showcase regional emerging leaders – those who are not afraid to question stereotypes, break boundaries and drive positive change with courage, hard work and determination.

Nominations are open across 11 categories and once again, we are also searching for nominations for our mentor category, which is open to men and women of any age who are supporting women and strengthening the pipeline of female talent in the region. In this Olympic year, we are delighted to be adding a Sports category for those women excelling in the Sports world
