Week of Women
The FCO promotes the United Kingdom’s interests overseas, supporting our citizens and businesses around the globe.
The GREAT Britain campaign showcases the best of what our whole nation has to offer to inspire the world and encourage people to visit, do business, invest and study in the UK. It is the Government’s most ambitious international promotional campaign ever, uniting the efforts of the public and private sector to generate jobs and growth for Britain.
We run the Week of Women, a collaboration between the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office, the GREAT Britain Campaign and the Women of the Future Programme. The aim of the week is to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women. A global audience is brought together to discuss the issues, empower and enable lasting connections across nationalities. This year’s Week of Women events take place during the week of November 12th.
