On 9th November, we held our 17th Women of the Future Awards, sponsored by Aviva, at Hilton on Park Lane, and what a night it was! The atmosphere was exhilarating! Every year, we are blown away by the common thread that holds our candidates together, determination for equality, mentoring and giving back – sharing the values that are so important to us at Women of the Future.
We were delighted to be joined by HRH The Countess of Wessex GCVO, Cherie Blair CBE KC, Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE, Lord Lieutenant of Greater London, Sir John Peace, Sir Ron Kalifa OBE, Chairman, Network International, Stella Creasy MP, Labour MP for Walthamstow and Tania Bryer, Anchor and Broadcaster, CNBC.
We celebrated the most innovative, determined and talented young women from every corner of the UK and in every field. From media to science, from sport to mentorship, the awards showcased this country’s trailblazers. The talent of this year’s shortlist and the 15 award winners is simply phenomenal; these leaders of tomorrow with such inspirational stories and achievements made judge’s decision very difficult!
